PaddleALL is a project introduced by Canoe/Kayak Canada. It is a program aimed at promoting participation in the sport of sprint Canoe/Kayak for individuals with disabilities.

Recreational and sprint canoes and kayaks are used to introduce paddlers with intellectual and physical disabilities to the sport of sprint racing.

The program includes a safety orientation and instruction by experienced coaches. Each paddler will have the opportunity to spend time on the water with an experienced paddling partner for 1:1 support.

This program is ideal for individuals age 10+ but children under the age of 10 may be accepted at the discretion of the PaddleALL coach.

The PaddleALL program is run out of our Frenchman bay location on the spit of Beach Point Promenade.

Participants will have the opportunity to experience various water sport disciplines such as recreational canoes and kayaks, dragon boats, and sprint race kayaks. The overall objective of the PaddleALL program is to provide a safe and inclusive environment where each and every participant can build water sporting skills and confidence at their own pace. The focus is on having fun and being safe!

Sessions / Cost

PaddleALL is a 12 week program that operates twice a week; Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6:00-8:00pm starting on May 29th – ending August 18th.

One session per week for 12 weeks is $210.00 including all taxes and fees
Two sessions per week for 12 weeks is $350.00 including all taxes and fees

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY

Only parents, legal guardians or persons 18 years of age or older can register participants for this program. If you are not at least 18 years old and you wish to register, you will need to have a parent or guardian fill in the following forms.

After selecting "Register" you will be required to CREATE AN ACCOUNT with Sportical.

On the first day of your program please bring your email confirmation and waivers (that will be emailed to you) and volunteer cheque.

If paying by Interac Debit please select payment method: "Interac" and complete the payment by using your bank's online tool. Interac E-Transfers are to be sent from your online banking website to [email protected]. In the comments section of the E-Transfer please include the registrants name and the name of the program you have registered them in. E-Transfer Password: Your bank will require you to create a password for this transaction. Please send the password in a separate email to [email protected] with the above reference information.
Those payments made via interac e-transfer your registration is not guaranteed until payment has been received in full.

Please note:
For registrations that are to paid by Credit card - your child(ren)'s spots are instantly guaranteed, and the initial automated confirmation slip is all that you require. Selecting PAYPAL does not require you to have a paypal account and will allow you to pay by credit card inside the paypal system.

REFUND POLICY:
All Camp/memberships are non-transferable.
Any refund will take approximately 2-4 weeks to complete.
75% refund if notified at least 1 month before start date
50% refund with 2 weeks’ notice of start date
25% refund with 1 week of start date

If your program requires a volunteer cheque, the program is not considered fully paid until a volunteer cheque has been received. Volunteer cheques should be submitted on the first day of your program or before. All refunds may be subject to a $35.00 administration fee. A full refund of your membership will be granted if an e-mailed request to [email protected] is received withing 24hrs of registering or more than 1 month remains before the start of the program. Memberships are active from the start of the program. They become non-active at the end of the season or upon our receipt of your application for refund. Refunds after the start of the program will only be considered for medical reasons with proper medical documentation. Non-use will not be considered a reason for a refund of membership. Refunds are not given for inclement weather.

Pickering Rouge Canoe Club reserves the right to change schedules, coaches or practices as needed without compensation or notice.
