PRCC is excited to start its spring/summer High Performance program this year. We are looking forward to another fun and safe summer of paddling on Frenchman’s Bay in Pickering. This program includes spring training!

Spring Training runs from April 1 to July 4th in the morning M-F 6:00-7:30 and M,T,Th,F 4:00-5:30/6 (no Wednesday) & Saturday 9-10:30 (depending on workout schedule). The summer session starts July 4 and runs for 7 weeks M-F 7:00-8:30 & M,T,TH,F 16:15-18:00/18:30

Below are some of the key features of the program, based around Canoe/Kayak Canada’s (CKC) model for Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD). The programs main goals are as follows:

Provide a fun and safe environment for all participating athletes (coed)
All equipment is provided
Provide opportunity for athletes to train and compete in a variety of team boats and individual boats (singles)
Training of aerobic and speed training on and off the water
Provide opportunity for all participants to compete divisionally and provincially

The fee for this program is $1050 + HST (if payed via Interac E-transfer) and $1087 + HST if paid using Credit Card.
The fee Includes the following regattas (Mississauga, Balmy Beach, and WODs). Participants are required to provide 10 hours of volunteer time or a volunteer cheque of $250 in lieu of hours.

Each subsequent sibling enrolled will require an additional 5 hours of volunteer time or a additional volunteer cheque of $250 will be required in lieu of hours. Please contact [email protected] to obtain the sibling discount code.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY

Only parents, legal guardians or persons 18 years of age or older can register participants for this program. If you are not at least 18 years old and you wish to register, you will need to have a parent or guardian fill in the following forms.

After selecting "Register" you will be required to CREATE AN ACCOUNT with Sportical.

On the first day of your program please bring your email confirmation and waivers (that will be emailed to you) and volunteer cheque.

Please note:
All registrations are to be paid by PAYPAL, credit card or Interac Debit. If paid using PAYPAL or credit card - your / your child(ren)'s spots are instantly guaranteed, and the initial automated confirmation slip is all that you require. Selecting PAYPAL does not require you to have a Paypal account and will allow you to pay by credit card inside the Paypal system.

If paying by Interac Debit please select payment method: "Interac" and complete the payment by using your bank's online tool. Interac E-Transfers are to be sent from your online banking website to [email protected]. In the comments section of the E-Transfer please include the registrants name and the name of the program you have registered them in. For the E-Transfer Password: You are required to create a password for this transaction. Please send the password in a separate email to [email protected] with the above reference information.

Those payments made via Interac E-Transfer your registration is not guaranteed until payment has been received in full.

REFUND POLICY:
All Camp/memberships are non-transferable.
Any refund will take approximately 2-4 weeks to complete.
75% refund if notified at least 1 month before start date
50% refund with 2 weeks’ notice of start date
25% refund with 1 week of start date

If your program requires a volunteer cheque, the program is not considered fully paid until a volunteer cheque has been received. Volunteer cheques should be submitted on the first day of your program or before. All refunds may be subject to a $35.00 administration fee. A full refund of your membership will be granted if an e-mailed request to [email protected] is received withing 24hrs of registering or more than 1 month remains before the start of the program. Memberships are active from the start of the program. They become non-active at the end of the season or upon our receipt of your application for refund. Refunds after the start of the program will only be considered for medical reasons with proper medical documentation. Non-use will not be considered a reason for a refund of membership. Refunds are not given for inclement weather.

Pickering Rouge Canoe Club reserves the right to change schedules, coaches or practices as needed without compensation or notice.
