2018 Sport & Sprint Camp

PRCC SPORT & SPRINT CAMP – August 13–17, 2018

Designed for active children between the ages of 7 and 11, this camp focuses on teaching sport skills, concepts, team play and competition. Active games are used to facilitate the development of hand eye coordination with daily tournaments to foster the competitive spirit. We suggest you minimize evening activities as campers will be very tired when they get home each night. Paddling and arts and crafts are designed to help pace the day with the final activity being a swim.

SPORTS INCLUDE:
Soccer-Baseball, Cross-Country Running, Dodge Ball, Paddling, Soccer, Ultimate Frisbee and Flag Football

ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:
Lawn Darts, Bean Bag Toss, Quoits, Pooka, Scavenger Hunt and Capture the Flag

This camp was originally run for many years by John Hollins but has been transferred to PRCC.

SESSION AND COST

The Sport and Sprint Camp runs from August 13-17, 2018 from 9:00-4:00.

Cost is $150 including all taxes, fees and equipment. Participants are not considered to be members of Pickering Rouge Canoe Club (PRCC).

VOLUNTEER CHEQUE

A volunteer cheque is not required for this program, however, PRCC is always looking for volunteers to assist with our programs and events. We greatly appreciate family and friend participation. Please see the PRCC website under "Jobs and Volunteering" for volunteer opportunities.

REGISTRATION

Only parents, legal guardians or persons 18 years of age or older can register participants for this program. If you are not at least 18 years old, a parent or guardian will need to complete the registration.

After selecting "Register" you will be required to CREATE AN ACCOUNT with Sportical if you do not already have one.

Payment is by credit card or PayPal. You do not need a PayPal account to pay by credit card inside the PayPal system.

On the first day of your program, please bring your email confirmation and waiver that will be emailed to you.

REFUND POLICY:
All registrations are non-transferable. All refunds may be subject to a $35.00 administration fee. Any refund will take approximately 2-4 weeks to complete.
75% refund if notified at least 1 month before start date.
50% refund with 2 weeks’ notice of start date.
25% refund with 1 week of start date.

A full refund of your membership will be granted if an e-mailed request to [email protected] is received within 24 hours of registering or more than one month remains before the start of the program. Memberships are active from the start of the program. They become non-active at the end of the season or upon our receipt of your application for refund. Refunds after the start of the program will only be considered for medical reasons with proper medical documentation. Non-use is not a reason for refund of membership. Refunds are not given for inclement weather.

PRCC reserves the right to change schedules, coaches or practices as needed without compensation or notice.
